Through the lens
Capturing the beauty of the natural world: I was inspired to take up photography by a cousin who was close to me, and is sadly now deceased. I have only just started out and am trying to put into practice any techniques that I learn, or is shown to me by willing teachers. I will post some of my photographs and hope that experienced photographers and novices alike, will provide honest criticism and pointers in the right direction. The colours reflected on the falls are actually the multi-colour spotlights shining on them from a point opposite the falls.

Thanks for the appreciation. Unfortunately no such luck; I am just a rank amateur and have just an entry level Nikon DSLR. Maybe some day in the future when I can afford something more elaborate….but first, I need to learn much much more.
Since you are the second person who has asked for more pics, I am going to get off my lazy butt and post a few I captured on a recent road trip to Cape Town, South Africa – one of the most beautiful places in the country.
