Utterly disgusting, especially as it seems that the common denominator in these attacks on women, is religious fundamentalism.

It’s just so awful how these people would do this to their own children, just because they think they violated some law from religion.
Especially the one who was killed just because she was eyeing a boy. It’s totally normal for girls her age to look at boys! This is one disadvantage of religion that I’m totally against. I’m thankful to be living in a society wherein you don’t get acid doused for eyeing a guy.

But seriously, a disturbingly large number of adherents of this particular religion are really quite hateful, while professing to be peaceful. It truly disgusts me.
